dc.description Abstract: Global warming results in increasing of temperature, rising of sea water level, changed patterns of precipitation and more intense weather events (such as storms and hurricanes) (Dow and. Downing, 2006). Tourism has a large effect on the state of our environment and climate. Environmentally conscious travelers try to conserve resources by choosing services that cause minimum pollution. This paper focuses on the behaviour of tourist relevant to global warming within a psychological framework. This study comprises of a general introduction and literature review, research methodology, research findings, analysis, and discussion. This study identified knowledge, media exposure, benefit and cost and demographic as the factors that influence the tourist behaviour toward global warming. Among the four factors that influence behaviour, benefit and cost is the factor that affects behaviour the most This research can be applied to hotels, restaurants, and tourist destinations or even to any other industry which has the customer base that cares about natural environment. This study was carried out with only Malaysian tourists. In future, this study can be extended to specific areas such as hotels, restaurants
dc.description tourist destinations to identify how much tourists are willing to spend for a particular green product, their preferences to counter react to global warming etc.
