Abstract: This conceptual paper intends to review the possible trends, challenges and models applied by authors in hospitality management education in the new millennium. A conceptual model is developed to further conduct an empirical study on the cultural impact towards the changing trends in hospitality and tourism education in Malaysia. The situational and individual characteristic provide a moderating process towards industrial training, cognitive interpersonal skills and intercultural effectiveness that results in cultural sensitivity towards producing graduates in the field of hospitality management.
